The Role:

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and service focused Storeperson to join the team based in our Wheels & Brakes Workshop at Banyo. Your duties will include:

  • To provide receipt, processing, storage and dispatch of aeronautical product
  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions and stock levels
  • Dealing with internal and external customers
  • Loading and unloading of stock
  • Ensure aeronautical parts are checked and airworthiness documents are in place
  • Undertake regular stock take processes
  • Work in accordance with airworthiness requirements
  • Identify and act on opportunities for improvement
  • Take all reasonable steps to ensure own safety and the safety of others
  • Actively participate as a team member to achieve team goals and deliver to the customer

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous warehouse experience with a focus on receivables and dispatching
  • Experience in spare parts, inventory and manufacturing environment - desirable
  • A current LF Forklift, High Risk Work Licence - preferable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience working with aeronautical product - preferable but not essential
  • Previous dispatch experience – International, Interstate, Local
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience using inventory management IT systems – IFS desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A passion and drive to deliver to keep our customers flying.

Additional Requirements:
Due to the nature of our work and the requirements of our customers, all applicants may be required to hold Australian citizenship and need to meet ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and/or EAR (Export Administration Regulations) compliance as part of employment eligibility.

Successful applicants may also be required to undergo a current police check, obtain a Commonwealth defence security clearance, and participate in random drug and alcohol screening as part of our commitment to safety and security.
