The role responsibilities include:
Assembly of aerospace mechanical components and systems
Fit components together and install aerospace fasteners,standoffs,rivets and other hardware to aerospace specifications and standards are required.
Apply adhesives,sealants and paint products as required
Install hardware using Shrink fitment techniques Use initiative to keep processes moving and on schedule
Provide support to other tradesmen and trades assistant
Desired Skills and Experience
Required skills, experience and qualifications:
A trade qualification or higher in Engineering or Manufacturing - preferable
Good understanding of manufacturing processes Experienced in using measuring equipment including Verniers, Micrometers etc
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage your own time and complete tasks efficiently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer literacy with regards to understanding of 3D models and extraction of key data to support production
Ability to read drawings and other technical instructions to complete production tasks
Experience in Aerospace assembly techniques, using hand tools and hand operated power tools (Desirable)
Previous work history in Aerospace component or system assembly (Desirable)
Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Experience in manufacturing or production environments (Highly Desirable)
Dual-trade background (Electrical + Mechanical) is a bonus
