We’re looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering complex aerospace and advanced manufacturing projects.
This is a hands-on role for a Manufacturing Engineer who understands what it takes to take a product from engineering through to production — planning the work, coordinating resources, developing manufacturing documentation and supporting the team through to successful delivery.
You’ll work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality and Operations to ensure manufacturing processes are safe, efficient, practical and compliant.
You’ll have the opportunity to work on complex, high-value engineering projects where your work has a direct impact on how products are manufactured and delivered. This is a role where you can see your engineering decisions move from drawing to factory floor to finished product.

Job Description
What you’ll be doing:
Oversee manufacturing processes from production planning through to completion.
Review schedules, resources and production requirements to ensure work is ready to proceed.
Develop and maintain work instructions, manufacturing records and quality documentation.
Support production trials, process improvements and engineering changes.
Investigate manufacturing issues and identify practical solutions.
Work closely with production teams to improve efficiency, quality and manufacturability.
Prepare and review documentation including AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
Provide technical support across the manufacturing lifecycle.
Desired Skills and Experience
What we’re looking for:
Degree qualified in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years' solid experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments.
Experience with welding and/or machining will be highly regarded.
Ability to interpret engineering requirements and translate them into practical manufacturing processes.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage schedules, documentation and competing priorities.
Someone who is comfortable being on the factory floor and working directly with production teams.
Experience in aerospace, defence or advanced manufacturing is advantageous, but we’ll also consider Manufacturing Engineers from automotive, heavy engineering, mining, medical or other complex manufacturing environments.
