About the Role

As the Project Manager, you will lead key initiatives and serve as the internal point of contact for assigned projects. This six-month, on-site contract role involves planning, executing, and closing projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with competing priorities.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering.
  • Support project planning and monitor cost, technical performance, milestones, and schedules across coordinated team efforts.
  • Track timelines, budgets, and deliverables, and report project status to leadership.
  • Identify and resolve risks early, before they become problems, while driving process improvements.

Desired Skills and Experience

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Strong track record of managing projects in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple activities resources and stakeholders at once
  • Comfortable uplifting projects and adapting quickly as priorities shift
  • Solid understanding of production workflows and plant operations preferably in the defense and or aerospace industries
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Effective interpersonal and presentation skills skilled at applying negotiating principles to achieve beneficial results.
  • PMP certification preferred not required
