About the Role
As the Project Manager, you will lead key initiatives and serve as the internal point of contact for assigned projects. This six-month, on-site contract role involves planning, executing, and closing projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with competing priorities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering.
- Support project planning and monitor cost, technical performance, milestones, and schedules across coordinated team efforts.
- Track timelines, budgets, and deliverables, and report project status to leadership.
- Identify and resolve risks early, before they become problems, while driving process improvements.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Strong track record of managing projects in a manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to juggle multiple activities resources and stakeholders at once
- Comfortable uplifting projects and adapting quickly as priorities shift
- Solid understanding of production workflows and plant operations preferably in the defense and or aerospace industries
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Effective interpersonal and presentation skills skilled at applying negotiating principles to achieve beneficial results.
- PMP certification preferred not required
